The Rotaid Solid Plus Heat LED is a very solid AED cabinet that can accommodate all types of AEDs except the AEDs from Primedic and CardiAid. A wall mount is required for the Zoll AED Plus and the Zoll AED 3. All other AEDs can be installed without modifications. The cabinet has an IK value of 10. This test comes from an independent body. The results of this test indicated that the DEA cabinet can accommodate a 5 kilo object at a height of 40 cm without visible damage.

The Rotaid Solid Plus Heat LED has an IP value of 55. This means that the cabinet can be installed in dusty spaces and that it is waterproof. It can therefore be installed in many places.

The shape of the cabinet for DEA is inspired by the lifebuoys. The practical opening mechanism allows quick access to the DEA. The cover can be opened in an intuitive rotational movement and remains attached to the rear side using a nylon strip. This allows you to fully open the cabinet and have full access to the DEA.

The hood has arrows in circular motion, making it very easy to open the cabinet in the most stressful situations.

The color of the cabinet complies with Ilcor standards. Ilcor is a European organization that aims to unify the color code and logos of the DEA. The overall green color enhances the visibility of DEA cabinets for rescuers. The hood is protected against fading due to long exposure to sunlight.

An optional lock can be supplied with the DEA cabinet. AED-Partner does not recommend installing a lock. It can waste time in crisis situations where every second counts. The Rotaid Solid Plus Heat is fitted with an audible alarm.

The custom made heating element heats the AED when the outdoor temperature is too low. The heating element automatically maintains the temperature at 5 degrees Celsius. The defibrillator is thus protected down to -25 degrees Celsius. The heating system is very efficient and environmentally friendly.
