With time, Safil deteriorates by hydrolysis via the glycolic acid. This one being a natural product of the metabolism of the human body, it is finally excreted in the form of H2O and of CO2.
The deterioration of Safil is independent of the presence of enzimes.
Safil does not undergo any reduction of tension in infected tissues.
