It can be used to detect the heart rate of the fetus from about the 10th week of pregnancy, to locate the placenta and facilitate early diagnosis of the placenta previa, to observe blood circulation in the umbilical cord and to diagnose multiple pregnancies.
Signals from the fetus are easy to spot with the narrow beam probe, while internal signal processing minimizes noise artifacts.
The user can hear the heartbeat of the fetus through the built-in speakers or optional headphones, the sound level can be adjusted using a dial.
