Dauerbinde K is a long stretch bandage with strong compression; with a characteristic firm-grip fabric texture. Due to its long stretch properties, the compressive power of this bandage can be easily adjusted. It is used as support and relief bandage on ligaments and joints. Because of the high resting pressure the bandage must be removed at night or when the patient is in a resting position.
The Dauerbinde can be fitted easily even without much experience in bandaging techniques, the bandages conform well to body contours, have little tenency to bulk up, are durable and easy-care.
