Defibrillators

Defibrillators

In cardiac defibrillators, it is to distinguish two types of devices marketed today: automatic defibrillators or semi-automatic.

Today, there are two types of defibrillators for use in cases of resuscitation: fully automatic defibrillators (AED, not to be confused with DAE automated external defibrillators) and automated external defibrillators (AED).

In both cases, it is correctly put the electrodes on the patient's torso, so that the machine analysis vital signs, and then load the electrodes, if necessary.

The big difference lies in the administration of the landfill. The AED will warn the user and perform the action alone, while the DSA will load and will signal that it is ready for use.

This will then alert the user to the people around and press the button to start the defibrillation process.
